Hi guys,I have been admitted to both the University of California, Davis and the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. I would prefer to live on the West Coast, but if I have a chance to get an MBB internship/job, I would go to Minnesota for my MBA; they at least have some alumni there, and Davis does not.So, I wanted to ask if MBB is an unrealistic goals, with my resume, if I go to Minnesota. I graduated in September of 2008 from Davis with a 2.55 GPA (Economics major), took online classes until June of 2009 to get the units to sit for the CPA (3.12 GPA in those classes). Passed the exams in 2010. Work experience is temporary work until December of 2010 when I started with a small CPA firm, which is where I've been since. Work breakdown is 55% audit, 30% tax, 15% advisory. 710 GMAT.I don't know how much difference it would make if I could bump my GMAT to a 730, maybe an outside chance of a 740. I also think I can do pretty well on case interviews.I would really appreciate it if you guys could tell me if there's just no way MBB is going to happen. Thanks in advance for your feedback.
