HiI came across ACN's job post where in it is quoted as £ 43,000 - 84, 500. It is a wide range and almost double.I thought the Consultant grades are C1, C2 and C3.does it mean....ACN could be recruiting M-grades with the title as Consultant or for the above position?or ACN recruitement could be paying £80,000+? for Consultants @ C3?Can some one help to share with us the process/the wide range for this position....Thanks

Your thinking on consulting grades is a little limited. The ad you have seen is not only for Consultant level it's consultants. Within consulting grades (assuming you are an experienced hire) for that salary range you would be looking at C1,2,3 to M1,2 (possibly 3).So yes they will be looking at manager grades as well and no you wouldn't pay a C3 £85k.

HiMy brother is a consultant at Accenture, but he is straight so probably wouldn't be able to help you. Maybe Camster, Mars et al if they are around would know.DC

It just means they are recruiting consultants at C - M grades. the term 'consultant' applies to everyone in a consultancy firm working with clients. It does not specifically correlate to one particular grade.
