I am currently working as a Senior Consultant for a consultancy specializing in information management. I have been doing mainly development, but also some advisory on customer projects. Having been in this business for over 6 years, I would like to move on to another part of consulting. My academic background is both technical- and business oriented. In my mind basically all consultancy work could (and should) be measured in terms of ROI. However, I see too often “tech-heads” not seem to understand this. Just to clarify my state of mind :)I would like to move towards the management consulting area, but not sure which area I would fit in.Preferably, I would like to work for a company such as Deloitte – not one of the pure IT companies pretending to be business consultants. Anybody out there who could give their qualified opinion and advice ?
