Hi all,Is there a big difference in pay for consulting in strategy and organisational/ leadership consulting?For example - would the big four pay differently for grads and senior level positions in thoe two areas?What would be the long term opportunities of later on in life bem if i wanted out of consulting?Im asking as I could do either and not sure which field to go for!Thanks

The pay is different. Glassdoor.com can give you an indication. The Big 4 pay different in these areas because often their strategy unit is part of transaction services, which is very bonus-driven.Exit opportunities for life after consulting are easily found by searching this forum or googling for exit opportunities in consulting. If you just think about what you learn however:-change/leadership/organisational: prepares you for project manager style roles-internally oriented & execution-strategy: focus on business analysis by improving profitability/revenue/costs. Advice rather than execution.Big-4 to MBB is unlikely to happen in the first place and change/project management/leadership is AFAIK not a typical skillset they look for, they rather seek deep industry expertise or specific functional expertise e.g. operations, finance, M&A.
