OK, decent, well viewed, a good emerging player so to speak. It would not rule you out but you would be well behind the LBS/INSEAD types

Thanks answer but the expense of LBS and demand is huge! I'm fairly weak on maths, so not expecting 800 in the GMAT score. I'm in no hurry to do the MBA it self just looking to research.

very true and you will struggle to make your money back! Reality is that Manchester is very much in the chasing pack. try some GMAT's first. If you struggle with these you are probably on the wrong path both with regards to the MBA and the consulting career. Strategy consulting is much more about number crunching, spreadsheets etc than deep thinking and strategy - especially in the early days

What about the Warwick Business School MBA how is that perceived?

GMAT - Depends how much you want it. If you get poor results at first it does not mean greatness and a top MBA is beyond your reach... It just means you will need to put 3-4 months of real effort in to get the required result. Not a massive ask given the potential payoff.

it's a reputable school with alumni working with McK, BCG, Booz, ADL, ATK and Accenture.
