Just wondering about how diversity can still be competitive for MBBB. About a non english-native speaker, PhD in philosophy, the chance to get a job as associate is:-no way buddy-unrealistic, but miracles exist-though, but possible-red carpet, they are waiting for you

Wallace, MBBB have obviously built their INTERNATIONAL reputations on exclusively working in a small village in Surrey, advising local neighbourhood watch on how to improve their hoodie tracking strategy. What on Earth has being a non native speaker of English (or any other language for that matter) got to do with it?! Consulting firms are international, business is international. As long as you can converse to a business level in English you are probably more fluent in English than most English people anyway so don't worry about it. It's the fact you are asking this at all that makes me question whether you are MBBB or any consultancy material...

Thanks a lot Mars, probably you're right. I'm just trying to understand if this environment is too smart for me. Hopefully I'm not a stupid, but I exercised my skills in something completely different. We'll see.

"It's the fact you are asking this at all that makes me question whether you are MBBB or any consultancy material..."Sure, Mars, because what consultancy requires more than anything else is the ability to not ask questions.

Yeah but in all fairness not b0ll0cks questions that you could easily find the answer to yourselves, or questions that make no actual sense.

Wallace your chances with MBBB will not hinge on languages, but my point was that as international firms it seems plainly obvious that there is no disadvantage for not being a native English speaker. You won't get anywhere by sitting around navel gazing and wondering so apply and see how you get on.

My point was on diversity. Ok, the language is fine. But what about philosophy? The question is: a philosopher from Cambridge, fine; an engineer from Milan, fine. The problem arises with the degree of diversity. Therefore an exotic profile is still competitive, taking for granted top personal skills?

Wallace, dude, are we speaking different languages? If you are really good and lucky you will get in (yes, even if you studied quantum physics and were born in nairobi). If not, you wont.(this is a yes-no binomial thing, dont try to find the grey zone)
