Hi,I am working in Accenture as Software Engineer for 18 months. My role is typically a management role - interacting with stakeholders(people from other organizations) and getting the job done and reporting to senior management. My dream is to become a strategy consultant. Can anyone please suggest me what needs to be done by me to achieve my dream?Whether there is any possibility in Accenture, that i can get into strategy consulting? Thanks.

Two possible routes:- Apply for a top MBA. ie LBS, INSEAD, HKS, Stanford, Wharton, Sloan, Booth etc...- Try an internal move to strategy first. This is likely to be tricky, but I have noticed that Accenture strategy have been recruiting in London latelyFor the former, the route is fairly straightforward if you have the academic credentials to win a place (ie research schools, prep & take GMATs, seek funding, seek recommendations, etc...). For the latter I will leave the floor open to an Accenturite. It would be difficult to move into a strategy house with your profile as your experience would not gel well with Analyst recruitment, yet you wouldn't have the track record to justify an Associate role. This is assuming that your strategy dream is strong enough and well researched enough to be worth the effort (personally love it but know lots that do not)!
