Ok time for the pundits to earn their cornflakes..what do we make of the Hitachi acquisition of Celerant? Good for both/either/neither? What will continuing consolidation in the industry mean for consulting careers? etc etc points of view, analysis, polemics and of wit all appreciated.In TC tradition, please be detailed and descriptive

Well, I would say it is neither here nor there for most folk. From what I remember, Hitachi make hard disks and hi-fi's. Celerant, on the other hand, well... never heard of them. Sounds like a manufacturer or air conditioning parts or something? I'm sure they're very good companies though and will do very well.
