Hi,Does anyone know of firms that do quant consulting in London? I've found d-fine (not sure how big they are in London...), but there doesn't seem much else. Anyone got any ideas/inside knowledge?

Detica, SAS, experian, FICO, jay wing....all these firms employ quants and stats people, though they mainly do retail banking risk work, not IB quants.

EY and OW definitely not. Most are contractors, take a look at confluentia (hope spelling is correct), currently working with them

if you are a decent quant, there is little point joining a consultancy - join a bank or go contracting. i worked with a contract credit modeller last year who had been picking up 3000 a day for 18 months at the same bank (and one not known for its high rates - his day rate was slightly more than the Deloitte partner was billing).
