Hi all,I have an assessment centre for the role of a graduate Life Science and Healthcare Analyst at PA Consulting Group and I was hoping I could hear from anyone who has been to an assessment centre (either successful or unsuccessful) for such a specialist branch of consulting. Will the case study layout be any different to the case studies that are given to people applying for the more general analyst roles?What kind of research would be really beneficial to someone who is trying to get into Life Science and Healthcare consulting. Any help would be much appreciated!

Go onto the DH website and get hold of the recent white papers on the NHS reorg and earlier Andrew Lansley editions - search for Equity and Excellence: Liberating the NHS - http://www.dh.gov.uk/health/2011/07/liberating-the-nhs/ read about CCG's what they do etc if you don't know what a CCG is already you'll should know this. PA did much IT work for the NHS and not so much life sciences I believe but this may have changed in the past 3 years. Learn about the 3 key policy areas at a high level;- NHS, Social Care and public health
