Does anyone in the group know of an IT consulting firm or network (preferably free) that pays out more than 60% of project rates to their consultants?

Do you mean a firm that bills, for example, a consultant at £1000 per day and gives the consultant £600 of it?

Only way you will get that share will be if you work through a consultancy as a contractor and even then I'd expect most consultancies to want to re-bill a 600 a day contractor at 1200-1500, so you share would be 40%-ish

Thanks. Has anyone made over 40%. Looking for somebody with experience working as consultant for companies that paid really well. Can anyone make recommendations?
