Hi,A few days ago, I was approached by an honest and straighforwrad headhunter re. a Research Associate role at CT Partners,a leading international executive search firm. Currently, I have been employed for almost 15 months as Client Relationship Executive - a quasi-legal role, similar to Assistant Company Secretary / Paralegal - for a small company (15 employees) in London specialising in setting up offshore companies and providing other relevant fiduciary services. Although I enjoy responsibilities and duties I perform as well as the laid-back corporate culture, I feel like I am being stuck in a rut due to lack of financial incentives, but more importantly career progression opportunities. I have an upper 2.1 MA degree in European Studies from King's College London as well as 1st BA degree in History from London Metropolitan University. Currently I have been investigating studies options for securing Company Secretarial accreditation so I could enhance my employability prospects in this field. In light of the above, I would really appreciate if you could advise whether it would be the right career move to go into executive research where salaries and bonuses are great, as well as opportunities for a long-term for career development. In addition, I enjoy doing research, customer service, report writing and project management, but I have a lukewarm attitude towards making cold calls. Also, do you know anything about the company itself?Thank you very much for your comments / suggestions!S
