Hi all,I've recently been made an offer from PwC within assurance for a Senior Associate role but have been told that the absolute maximum they pay to new starters at the top of the band (next step Manager) is £46,000.This seems unlikely to me as based on Glassdoor the spread is quite considerable - is anybody able to confirm what the max starting pay is for an external hire Senior Associate?I'm trying to negotiate a fair salary but am being stone-walled stating that this is the absolute maximum in the band.Thanksnewtoallthis

Sounds about right for the mainstream Assurance practice. A few areas (e.g. FS and Risk Assurance) sometimes pay a premium.Other parts of the firm pay differently.
