Hi All, Looking to leave Accenture to join a smaller firm in London - hoping for more responsibility, more money, less travel, nicer people.Looking at Corven & Moorhouse initially - looking to stay closer to business consulting and strategy - are there any other suggestions of firms that I should look at?Any civil responses appreciated.Thanks.

I too would certainly recommend Baringa Partners, dependant on your industry focus. Can you elaborate on your experience of strategy?

Some good suggestions have been made here, certainly these are firms that I know to be worth a look.If I start reeling off names of firms to look at I'll undoubtedly upset someone by their omission! So instead I'll say that the 2nd edition of our "Definitive Guide to UK Consulting Firms" is just being finalised by the publishers and will be available for free download from this site later this summer. We have full profiles of ~200 UK consulting firms and suggestions of another ~200 that readers may wish to go away and research. So if you're able to wait a few weeks this would definitely be worth consulting as a source of potential employers...Tony RestellTop-Consultant.com

Thanks for all your help.Whatnews: I am a C2 in T&OP Change Management.Put my CV on monster.com and as a result I get 2-3 calls a day from 'headhunters', I also put calls in to one or two recruiters who had contacted me in the past.Baringa, Corven, Qedis all seem to be recruiting heavily.I have a meeting set up with one firm (which I'm not too keen on) and CVs submitted to Corven and Credo. Can I ask, does anyone know of LOC, Market Gravity or Simplicity Partnership? Thanks.

Hi Josh,I know of Simplicity Partnership as I have spoken with them about roles. Very small at present but looking to grow quickly. Founded by 2 guys who have built a consulting business before and they seem to be bringing in a good mix of people with consultancy and industry experience. As with most small consultancies, you'll get a lot of early responsibility and the culture seems fun and informal. Time will tell whether they are successful but their USP is taking bad complexity out of big business and I think they have a great offering which is backed up by with analysis and diagnostics from Warwick Business School.Have a chat to them
