None allow it as a matter of policy, unless you're a partner. They usually refer to client policy if expenses are being passed on. As you can imagine clients allowing their consultants to bill them for first class in this day and age are rarer than hens teeth. Some HF/VC/SWF clients used to allow it during the boom, but not common these days.

I disagree - almost all of them will allow you to travel first class. But you will have to pay for it yourself.

Which sh*ty 3rd class consultancy firm do you all work for.I can guarantee you that big 4 allow business class flights for flight time above x number of hours. That is pretty standard. When flying with a client, you are asked to fly same class (that can mean downgrade and upgrade)

Dear Excusez moiAre you a retard? I'd say yes. Read the original question again, then try another reply. If you don't know what I mean you are certainly not suitable as a consultant, imagine the mistakes in your powerpoint packs. Attention to detail...

what a tw*t!Let me dissect the question for you since you so happily like to refer to yourself as "Not Thick" and indeed profess to be in position to rate ones' mental ability.Which consultancies [as in: please name one or more] allow [as in: will accept claims for] business/ first class travel [as in: the "/" denotes either or in this case]In response to this initial question "ML responded:None allow it as a matter of policy"Followed by: "Not IBM..."To which I responded [rhetorically]: which sh*ty consultancy blah blah blahClearly, despite positioning yourself as "able" to depict the essential consulting skills, which I am obviously lacking, you are unable to understand which posts I am responding to.So I would suggest you crawl back into your corner and reflect on your own idiocy

Is "first class" the new euphamism for Ryanair? If so, you're in luck!

I worked with a small software house whose transatlantic policy was business class - but if you chose to go economy you got paid half the difference... apparently many people took that up

I once managed to go Concorde on a bus dev code to hit a big proposal deadline in New York :D sadly, the equivalent triumph at my last place would have been getting to charge priority boarding on Sleazyjet

I never fly first class or go first class on the train. The company always tells me to use the cheapest form of travel. I even have to book it myself.

A.T. Kearney do business class flights. They make you return every weekend on foreign exchanges as well. That, or you can send your family over.
