Dear All,We would appreciate your experienced opinions on creating a Building that caters fully for travelling Consultants who need both a place to reside and work (typical stays of 1 week - 1 Year). Our concept Building so far has the following features:1-Training & Lecture Centre – with various room types (e.g. auditorium/classrooms)-if useful, what would you use it for and what types of rooms would you need?-what are the technical and other features you would have in each? 2- Serviced Offices (Rent-by-day)-if useful, would you like to see private spaces or open spaces for group work?-what are the technical and other features you would have in each? 3- Residences-What are the design and comfort features you would like to see in your suite?-what are the technical and other features you would have? 4- What other types of spaces & features, would you like to see in the same building?Thank you in advance for your time.

Don’t these already exist – they are called hotels. They have lots of rooms with comfy beds, lots of meeting rooms, and the half decent ones have an internet connection and desk-like piece of furniture in each bedroom. They also have a bar and some method of providing food. As they would ask on Dragons’ Den. “What problem are you solving with this product?”

presumably the appeal is to the sweatshop type of big SI who would like all their slaves colocated so they can get a few more hours graft in at night, maybe under a 'panopticon' design modelled on the old workhouses so the inmates, whoops, young professionals, could be kept under surveillance for signs of not-joining-in? As big projects don't stay in the same location for ever, these 'work houses' could be built in modular fashion , maybe using trusted Portakabin technology, so that they could be moved and reassembled as required...

"so that they could be moved and reassembled as required..."Yes! We would be even more of a travelling circus. This could appeal to big out-of-town projects, but I'd pity the minions living/ working there.

with appropriate dynamo technology and a fleet of articulated lorries it should be possible to keep the Portakabins powered up so that the slaves can continue working while being tranported from site to site
