I'm looking for some guidance on salary for the level above SM at a Big 4 - so Principal or Director or suchlike. Of course only one place to come for this info - TC!Bushy, Frio, Camster guys - any ideas? Anyone else?

As an additional note...I always try and foster good relationships with recruiters who work with the big 4 or whatever company I've worked for at the time. If I've been going for a promotion, I give them a call and ask them what salary ranges they've seen in the past 12 months.

In the UK, the average for directors ranges from 125 to 135 K£. Of course, those are averages and have quite a spread or range behind them.Also, these are director level, not sure what "associate directors" are, whether those are 1 level above SM as well or not.
