Hi All,Just wondering if anyone has experience of moving to a client delivery consulting role after joining their organisation in another function, i.e. sales?I know it's a pretty broad question without more background on my part, but just in general terms, has it been done/can it be done?Any experiences and advice on how would be very helpful! (My area of particular interest is operational strategy & transformation)Thanks

It can certainly be done, I've even seen people move from an HR role in a consulting firm to HR consulting delivery or people move from Finance to Financial consulting.The big question will probably be how much of your experience they will see as relevant when determining your entry level.
