I am looking to get into consulting focusing on strategy and change management. I am currently working in an organisation that firstly does not offer much scope for my project and secondly and quite frankly, that i am rather bored with. I would like to approach an external organisation and do my project on/with them. This would be purely academic unpaid work that would provide them with value and myself with experience to seek that fist consulting job. Does anyone have any ideas how i go about launching into this and what companies may be agreeable to such a proposition ?

I suggest firstly you get the spell checker working for you.... Then you're going to have to get on the 'net and use your contacts to get in the door. No alternative to good hard graft, I'm afraid!
