Isn't sending out "view from the top" emails to employees the most egotistical, up-your-own-a*se thing that you can bore your employees with on a Friday afternoon?I'm thinking of sending a "view from the bottom feeders" to all the SEs at the end of each week.

I agree but also have do find it quite funny/respectful to see a Partner sit in his office. Send the email and put his feet on the desk whilst lighting a cigar. It adds that extra touch of 'I've made it.. who cares'.You should definitely send out a bottom feeders email.

1. Visit busy Cyber Cafe or Library outside your home town, ensuring that CCTV not present (for the ultra-paranoid amongst you) and that you sign on without having registered or anything like that2. Set up hotmail account using a made up name 3. Prepare frank and candid e-mail with "feedback" to senior management, copying in whomever you believe would also like to receive management's response (including, potentially, yourself if it assists with the anonymity). Be polite and decent in your e-mail, but assertive in making your points4. Mention in e-mail that you have such low trust in them that you feel the need to deliver your feedback anonymously, for fear of retribution5. Review it about 45 times to make sure you can't be identified from it6. Send and await response.

7. In warmer climates you'd have to carry an umbrella to the office and keep your distance from the ceiling fan.
