I've heard that KPMG have set up a new deal advisory team which provides clients with advice and due diligence both pre and post acquisition, divestment and merger activity. Does anyone know anything about this team - what's driving the demand for K to create it when others have established capability?

It's not a new division, it's been a large part of the firm for a long time, it used to be called transactions and restructuring which comprised three functions; transaction services, corporate finance and restructuring.I believe that DA is on a growth trajectory at KPMG right now so probably a good time to join, even if the firm overall is struggling.
