Can anyone suggest from their knowledge regarding Markit or Sungard...I have an offer from both of these and trying to decide which one to go for ?Any inside news and suggestion?Thanks

I know a few markit people - alignment is by product not function, as markit has acquired a lot of pricing and backoffice tech in recent years (like FCS and LoanX). Pay is not stellar but work is City and Mayfair based and work life balance seems decent. Exit options at VP and above are good.

Don't know about sungard culture or levels, but I assume in the same area they would pay roughly similar as BO/MO IT is highly commoditized
