Does anyone know what the salary bands are for a manager at E&Y?

EY are the very bottom of the Big4 in terms of employers. As evidence, have a look at the other Big4 accountancy firms' websites to see how they crow about their performance on the Best place to Work league tablesEY never makes it on to these rankings, and there is a reason. It really is cr@p. Just have a look at the calibre of people who work there.

Ops - just realised I made a bit of a fool of myself here by not checking my facts..EY hasnt entered Times' Best Place to work since 2008, as it is an EMEA firm, not UK. Sorry if I misled anyone!

EY on the advisory side may not be up to par with Deloitte (or even close for that matter), but it is still heads and shoulders above KPMG and onpar quality-wise and better pay-wise than PwC, albeit with a less robust client list.

Think I'd tend to agree with ex-EYer and put EY behind Deloitte on reputation, but then its a newer business. PwC have a better client list now, but there is a lot of frustration amongst the partners about the constraints of their Audit base and KPMG are nowhere to be seen.EY have done pretty well recently and have grown a lot over the last year, but I gather remained competitively profitable despite the growth investment.

Other "top tier" consultancies like Arup and Boxwood outshone EY to get the big prizes. Says it all about EY's calibre really, if they can't beat off such stiff competition
