Just wondering what the social scene is like for MC. I mean, are people interested in alternative/underground places/music. Renovated areas on the up with free jazz nights, electronic and avant-garde delights? Basically if I become a MC, am I going to be stuck in a social culture that involves overly ostentatious clubs, dime a dozen airheads wearing exactly the same things and pretentious idiots who think club cool is ordering the most expensive bottle of champagne in the house and flashing your newest Breitling. Please tell me it's not going to be as superficial as so many people make out. I've had more than enough of the deluded Bridge whores at Uni. Shoreditch anyone? ;-)
