Hey guys. I have heard some horror stories about substance abuse and alcoholism in the MC sector. Is there much of a drug/alcohol culture within MC firms? Would like to hear your thoughts

From what I've seen, there's not nearly as much drug use within MC as there is within banking, but I may just be incredibly naive.Work hard / play hard culture in many consultancies when combined with frequent travel, business class lounges, and an expense account means that there is a lot of free booze on offer. Most consultants I know take quite a few years to work out where the thin line exists between having a good time and drinking themselves stupid... So yes, to answer your question, consulting is a pretty boozy career.Now please excuse me. I'm off to the pub for an eye-opener.
