Hi,I've got an interview coming up for an E&Y graduate position in their business advisory services section. I can't seem to establish whether E&Y BAS simply deal with the internal workings of a client or whether they are also involved in the strategy side of things. Please could someone help me out. Any other tips on this interview would be great....Many thanks,H

Thank you.Who would you say EY's main competitors are then? PWC, KPMG, Capgem, PA, Deloitte rather than Mckinsey, bain etc?

As a BAS graduate you would be part of an 18 month programme which is designed to give you the opportunitiy to experience the breadth of clients and types of work that EY BAS engages on. The work is varied, covering both strategic and more operational performance improvement. Its a great opportunity to explore where you strengths and Management Consulting skills are.

Sheps, at the risk of sounding like a broken record, have you tried doing even the smallest bit of research about the consultancy arena? Big 4 vs. strat house is hardly a secret. If you don't fundamentally understand who EY are and what EY do, you're not very likely to be offered a position, particularly in the face of competition who have actually bothered to do their homework.

Why, oh why, would you want to work for BAS? Do you not read this forum ? Try applying to a decent established operational consultancy that have some credibility like Deloitte, KPMG, or PA

There's nothing wrong with BAS. I'm assuming they have a home life as well as work?
