Hi all, I currently work in Internal Audit division of a Big 4 and trying to make internal move to Consulting, to one of the two roles- Project/Programme Management or Finance Transformation (Shared Services & Outsourcing to be specific). I am looking for a role offering exposure to complex business issues, develop skills in financial modelling/process mapping/business case development. Please can someone help me decide between the two? PPM- Is it all about running and managing a PMO? Does it involved process improvement, cost reduction or financial modelling? Is it just a support role? FT-SSC &O- Seems to provide some good exposure to finance operations and advising clients on outsourcing. Scope to do some financial modelling and business case development. What are the exit opportunities for someone doing shared services/ outsourcing advisory? I have searched in Linked in but most of them have seem to be moving within different Consultancies. Not seen anyone shifting to Industry. Many thanks.

Yeah, what a bore!I actually found that post so boring that it took me about 3 attempts to read it, and even then I still didn't manage to take any of it in. It's like a thick, impenetrable block of boringness.
