As others have said you may need to re-tool and start again on a grad scheme for example. Most employers will also wonder why after finishing your degree (if that's what you have) you were happy to then be a secretary for 5 years... you may have some personal reasons for doing so, but in a world where we like to pigeon hole people, 5 years of experience in something you no longer want to do will be challenging to get away from.
