I graduated in May with a Bachelor of Business and Law (1st class honours) and it is my ambition to start a career in management consultancy. I have spent a year abroad studying, assumed leadership and team-work roles throughout college along with many other extra-curriculars. Where my CV is lacking is in the fact I didn't complete any internships throughout my time in university.Do the big strategic firms (McKinsey, BCG, Bain etc) only go for graduates with some corporate experience, meaning I should focus my time and energy on perfecting my applications for the smaller firms or is it worth applying regardless? Also, is there anything I can be doing right now to improve my changes of securing and interview / offer from a consultancy firm?
