Firstly I would just like to introduce myself and say hello to everyone. I am 27 and My name is Jemma and I currently work as a support worker, I am a team leader and specialise in sign language working with mostly deaf people. Ok. So I have been working in the social care industry for about seven years and have been training to become an british sign language interpreter for six. I have recently discovered that this is NOT what I want to do. I am really interested in sales but more specifically recruitment consultancy. So my question is, how do I go a about getting into recruitment? I have little experience in a sales role though I have done telesales a few years ago. I do not have a degree because I have lived on my own since I was 16 and had to work and train at the same time so university wasn't an option. I'm pretty sure the skills I have learned over the years are transferable but like I said before, my main issue is making my c.v look desirable enough to get an interview. Once I have interview I know I can sell myself, as getting the interview is half the battle. Anyone who can provide me with some tips and feedback on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Sorry if the info above seems to be vague, I can provide more info if needed. Many thanksJemma
