Let's look at it from your point of view1. There is no harm trying for other options - no matter how good a company, end of the day it's a business that's there to make money. The Ms, SMs and SEs are also there to make ends meet and make their targets. If things dont go well, they wont blink any eye when they tell you its time to go. So you need to take care of your own interests, no one else cares2. Accenture isnt that bad and while it may be worth waiting, you dont know the end result. What if there is nothing better in a few months? What if there are some openings but you dont make the cut? Whatever the reason, I dont think you can afford to just assume you will get what you want and not try other optionsGiven that you are 24, assuming you have 2 or 3 years experience, I dont think working another couple of years at Accenture will do you any harm. That said, if you have already gained skills that will help you get a better role elsewhere and into something you want, then why wait? The best option, IMHO, is to test the waters and see how successful you are. Unless you try, you wont if you already have everything you need to move on or realize you actually need to spend more time polishing your skills and make use of Accenture's networkAll the best3Ts
