Hi there, I have been contracting at Accenture for a while and they have now expressed interest in bringing me on perm as a C2 / C3.Firstly, what is the current salary brackets for these levels? Are they flexible? E.g. at the moment I am being paid a very high day rate and they'd save a lot of money bringing me on perm, would this help in negotiating over the salary bracket or at the higher end of it?What are the chances of getting a sign on bonus and typically how much would this be?My situation is, that I get on very well within the team, and there now seems to be a natural perm slot for me at a team lead level that it wouldn't be appropriate to give a contractor over a permie, I also hold very specific skillset that is quite hard to find at the moment and that Accenture are looking to develop in general. Therefore I feel that I am in a relatively strong bargaining position.Any help from you experienced consultants would be appreciated.Martin

Yes you could get a sign on bonus if you negotiate, make around 5 grand sign on bonus payable after a period in the position and the salary range for C3 level I think can be from £50-65k (educated guess), of course you get pension and promotion prospects etc. so not all money in the hand to consider.

Thanks. Another thing to mention is I have about 6 yrs of relevant work experience. Is this likely to qualify me for C2 or C3?

Yep, with 6 years you can get into the C grade but coming in at C1/2/3 really depends on how much they weigh your previous experience.Avg C3 salary is around £55k and getting £65k is extremely rare. Search for previous posts as there is enough info on here to answer your questions. HR are known to be really tough but if you know how to play them you should get a good deal. As suggested previously, factor in all the benefits ACN give and dont only count the actual cash in hand.A

Technology workforce coming in with 18 months of experience is a c2. In this situation, the person had more experience; however, even if you have more expereience, they count what they want to count.
