Has anyone got any views on moving in the opposite direction - investment consultant to management consulting? I've done an MBA and am keen to see what strategy opportunities are available but investment consulting's quite a niche area to start from. On the original query below, I'd caution against the "big 3" being seen as the most prestigious. They certainly have huge resources but the level of imagination, breadth of role and scope for making an impact at the smaller consultancies is huge.
