I come from industry (phd then pharma) and have been offered this salary in a niche consulting company. I would be interested in knowing what this salary represents in terms of seniority in your firm. could you kindly state1) rank2) firm (and practice if relevant)3) average age / average years experienceMuch appreciated!

Vicodin, Welcome to the world of consultancy. I’m not sure if the responses your get will help you much as you’ll have a challenge to equalise or compare grades and titles across all the firms.Perhaps more pertinent is that at £120K base plus 20% bonus, you will be entering at what most firms would expect to be the most senior level of subject matter expert consultant. at most fir,ms. You are right at the very top of the earnings scale for a non-sales person. Even at this level most firms would expect a considerable ability to support pre-sales. Certainly none of the System Integrators (Accenture, etc) would pay this well for a non-revenue generator.Summary: It’s a great offer. Further improvements and career progression will probably be 99% based on moving into engagement management/revenue generation.

120k for a SM in Accenture. Really? I thought the most an SM would be pulling would be 100k, given that an M is on 70-80(tops)...
