If I want to leave my job and go for this internship my salary will cut in more than half!The only reason for me to consider this opportunity is it to be a gateway to consulting. Hi D, I dont based my decision on the answers here, I', just looking for some advice.Well you are right, I should provide more information. I have 4 years experience in HR; I have a MBA from a not accredited college. To accept this new offer, I would be responsible for my own accommodation, visa etc etc. and the salary as I said is much less.They said I can choose to have an internship for 1 to 3 months, and they are not sure if there would be an opening after that.

No. You are wasting your time considering an internship unless you are fed up with your current job and would be resigning anyway.You should apply to consultancies for a proper full-time consultancy job. If you cannot get one for whatever reason, then a short internship is not going to catapult you onto any shortlists.

Parka what was your objective in doing the MBA? And why an not accredited business school?

If it's Deloitte in Dubai, that makes a big difference. Unfortunately, I am almost certain that they will not offer you a job after the internship - in London or the US internships are an extended job assessment; at the Big4 in the Middle East they are cheap disposable labour. There is not the same concern to maintain goodwill with interns after the company has finished with them.
