Hi guys. You know how it can be sometimes - working on behalf of a reasonably smart project sponsor, but through necessity having to spend most of your interactions with half-wit client staff who assume the role of your day to day point of 'line management' contact. As highly educated, highly skilled, highly qualified, and highly hard working individuals, why is it therefore that these half-witted numbskulls often end up being our 'bosses' on a day to day basis? Isn't there something wrong when a gruff-looking d1psh1t (often with a career background in Health and Safety or some such nonsense which somehow he managed to use to convince somebody that he is 'ideally' qualified to manage a large business change project) who left school at 18 and writes like a semi-literate 15 year old (and has the intelligence to match) starts giving you "feedback" about the content of your work? Can any of you guys explain this phenomenon? How are we supposed to deal with it?
