Good afternoonAre there any experiences of Big4 firms offering extra compensation for long-haul travel (E.g. somewhere far enough away that you have to stay for 2-3 week blocks)?I'm currently working on a project in the Middle East (one of the countries that isn't very comfortable - you have to 'keep your head down') and since you can't fly direct, we do 2-3 week blocks out here. As things stand we just get the usual expenses (hotel, dinner expensed, business class flights) but this is the same as you would get if working on a client in Bristol Mon-Fri. Should I be asking for extra comp to make up for the lost time at home / the time spent travelling / the general inconvenience? Thanks!
