I'm currently going through the processes with a few big MCs but recently completed the process with a smallish but rapidly expanding firm. They came back after the final interview with a Partner with a "No right now, you have great skills but we needs specialists for some roles in Jan, we think you're awesome but we want to fill Jan's roles first"...I took that as a straight no and I still have other companies to work through but I do wonder has anybody ever had an MC company come back and say "Have the job" a few weeks later?

Sounds like he genuinely liked you, but just didn't have a role. In which case, if he was looking for a specialist, why did he interview you?However, I would take it as: "Don't call us, we'll call you".Compliments alone aren't enough. You want a job offer, not compliments and empty "promises".

He was fishing...seeing if he could push you through at some client or creating an inventory.....called you for an interview based on your resume ( must be good according to me).......u know what.....just chill....cream rises to the top once boiled milk cools down....this is your boiling period....FAITH // you will get the best //

Hi - if you want to work for them then you should keep in touch. Call them once a month. They will be impressed with your enthusiasm.I did this, and when a job came up I was top of a one person list to get it. It is all about networking.Besides it is a small effort to make alongside your bigger job search.
