RCs wont be well connected with start-ups; most start ups will be looking to control every cost and frankly wont be able to afford RC fees on top of salaries and operating costs. I suggest you need to consider first what skills/experience you can bring to a start up, then try networking through local chambers of commerce, university alumni you may be able to contact, and of course make contact with universities which have incubators etc. There is a thriving entrepreneurial marketplace, but you need to make yourself known to them. I would caution though that you'll need to have a really clear idea of what you can offer and what you expect - there wont be room for anyone to find their feet, you'll need to add value very quickly.
