Guys help me out here, I have been in tch with CG VP's for a role in their London office. I have been verbally told that I am through and all that is left is paper work, it is past 1 month since my last interview and I have not recd. anything from them till now ( 25 days elapsed ), what should I do ? All suggestions are welcome....is this delay normal ?

when CG really want to hire they can get the paperwork out in a couple of days - check back with your contacts (in fact are they actually still there? - been a lot of movement recently). may well be a freeze till end of year as that's a regular mechanism to get the numbers looking better . ...

What role have you interviewed for?

did you hear back and what role/area did you go for?they seem to be pretty bad at getting back from what I have seen, at least for non-grad hires (no different from Big 4 I guess)

at this time of year it's likely that every hire will require a further approval from a faceless bureaucrat in Paris, and depending on how the numbers are looking may get bumped into next year... the recruitment department are actually very good (unlike the management team) - they're just acting on orders..

Normally they have 2 interviews.i1 - over the phone, meeting in coffee shop etc - sounds like you have had thisi2 - takes couple of hours or so face to face and normally involves a case study / role play presentation and reportHave you had this ? sounds like you are being toed along.

I had both rounds, yesterday the VP told me the offer will be sent next Friday, I have not had any HR contact so far....Noraml ?

Hi, Something similar has happened to me... I cleared i1 and i rounds and am awaiting for the client round which they said would be intimated within a week or so. HR also said that she would ask me for further document and would discuss the salary. Later some other guy from their recruitment team asked me to fill out details on their hiring portal... (of couse portal has some issue and details cannot be filled in... which I notified to them but of no use till now.) I have not heard from them after that. It is 15 days or so. Any idea whom should I talk to? There are no numbers given and HR does not lift her phone either. I am getting anxious.
