Hi AllI have been a regular visitor of this forum and really appreciate the wealth of information shared here. This is the first time I am posting to ask a question. I have a final interview with Cognizant Consulting and wondering if someone could provide some advise. I applied to Senior Consultant role, however after going to the process and reading posts on this forum, I am certain that I should have applied for manager level. Is it possible to negotiate to manager level in the final stage, given that the process was different for manager level (had 2 more f2f interviews I believe. I have a total of 5 yrs consulting experience, of which 4+ yrs @Accenture (C3) and then joined another Indian origin consulting firm in the interim as senior consultant. Prior to consulting I also spent 7 yrs in the industry - telecom and IT services Thanks in advance,

With 12 years overall experience, you should join Cognizant as Manager-Consulting.I know many C3 Consultants from Accenture joining Cognizant as Manager-Consulting not SC. Not sure if you can negotiate to Manager level given you applied for Senior Consultant role. You shall check with the HR

Thanks. Will surely update here. The levels at Cog were confusing.. SC's designation is Manager, which messed it up for me.

You will have to explain why you applied for the SC role and why you now believe you warrant a Manager role in the company. Stating that you applied for the wrong job isn't sufficient. What skills and experience do you have that will prove to them that you're at Manager level? In order to answer that question you should know what the difference between SC & Manager is at CBS.
