Hi,I am looking for some advice on senior manager salaries as I have just been promoted at EY and am negotiating now.It would be great to hear from others what the typical senior manager salary at EY is (it is all a bit cloaked in mystery) and the benchmark for Senior Manager salaries at other firms (Deloitte, Baringa etc).Thanks in advance

no idea but I think the Top-Consultant team do an annual salary survey which you can find somewhere on this site

You get to negotiate for a promotion? Lucky you.All depends on what you do, for example a SM at EY in the tax unit wouldn't get as much as EY SM in the FS advisory unit

Hope this helps for now - average reward figures for 'Manager' (5-9 years consulting experience) -salary £69800; bonus 5024; bens 10853. Senior Manager/Principal (9-12 years) £95191; £9595; £10958. Deloitte/EY is typically 80-90k starting point for SM's..Boutique firms such as Capco, Baringa etc are £95-100k+ starting point.This is all looking at the Advisory/Consulting arms. There may be some exceptions to these i.e. niche skills.
