I located in the US currently and Mid Level Manager/Director position with fortune 20 company. I have recently decided to move closer to family and i have a lot of family in UK. I have found some positions and the one with Barclays IT is closer to offer. My Package in US has a base pay closer to 140 and a 20% Bonus and 6% 401k match. I own my cars out right and my company covers 90% of the health care and i have very less deductibles so Health care is not a huge burden for me. I would really like to understand what kind of benefits are offered. I am currently in Florida and my take home is approximately with bonus is 119000. This is after healthcare deductibles and other dedcutibles. I was looking for following. My take home is approximaltely 74000 GBP currently and i am expecting atleast 10% hike this puts my yearly at approximately at 135k GBP.1. Are these typical salaries offered in UK. 2. What other benefits are offered here. This might be vague but I am still trying to get a guage on how things work. Are there any avenues where i can make this calculation to 95% certainty.

You shouldn't have a problem reaching a similar level of take home pay in the UK at Director level, though I'm sure you know role definitions and remuneration would depend on the organisation you join. From a benefits perspective I would seriously look at your holiday allowance - as far as I'm aware UK tends to be a bit more generous. Other than that, if you want to get to a good level of confidence, then I think it would be important to quantify overall quality of life - difference in type of property you can afford (which will be significant if you are relocating to London or thereabouts,) private vs NHS healthcare, and yes the weather. I would also consider the transaction cost(s): relocation, getting rid of these cars which I'm sure cost you a pretty penny etc.
