The person undertaking the work is a PhD holder with a good reputation and previous similar work done for the government (but not as a private consultant).How much should she charge per hour?Also, this is a very short notice contract, contacted today but need to start on Monday. You need to know what it is worth to the client and charge relative to that. Two weeks work could be anything from a thousand to tens of thousands depending on the value to the client.How do you get the value? Well, you're a consultant aren't you?Your qualifications and experience are secondary.Penny
