Hi there,I have been recently approached for a consulting role at Partners In Performance in Australia.I have two questions that someone hopefully can answer for me.- It has become clear to me that the high amount of (remote) travelling puts a large burden on work-life. Has anyone some recent experiences in Australia?- I have been reading about "peculiar" case interviews. Is there anyone who can share interview experiences with me.Thanks so much!Ryan

I had an offer there that I turned down. Here's the gist of it:PROS- Very high comp. (above MBB)- Very very operational projects, 90% of which in the mining industry- No formal up-or-out at mid-senior levels and above- Smart colleagues (ex-MBB / OW / Booz / etc. with ops experience)CONS- Travel is horrendous - Monday through Friday most weeks, sometimes off to remote locations- Exit options seem limited given the very specialized nature of the workI ultimately decided against it because I wasn't sure I wanted to do mining ops for the rest of my life / pigeonhole myself. But if you are passionate about Ops and heavy industry, this is an awesome job

Also - interview are pretty McKinsey-like. Nothing out of the ordinary, Focus on ops of course
