Hi all,First time here, but I would appreciate any help/insights you can provide.I'm currently working for A.T. Kearney at a pre-MBA level in one of the PIGS. For personal reasons I am trying to move to London, and I have found that (1) A.T. Kearney is not a top-brand in London (in some other geographies it is considered top-3) and (2) most large, well-known firms are facing a hiring freeze (including ATK). I've spoken with two consulting-specialized headhunters who told me "getting into MBB / PE will be pretty difficult with your CV" (mainly growth strategy projects and DDs - this left me stunned). They have sent me some of their opportunities right now but - albeit I’m not completely familiar with the UK consulting market - those seemed like very specialized (e.g. sourcing, market evaluation) and early stage consulting firms, and not exactly what I would expect my next step to be. I’ve also looked into some industry opportunities, but as I am relatively junior and my experience has been mostly focused on PE work and DDs I don’t really feel like I have that much to add to those openings. My questions for you:1) How is the consulting market in London right now (growth vs. stagnation)?2) What should I expect opportunities in London after A.T. Kearney to look like? Which sectors should I expect to recognize the brand more/less? I would be very thankful for any advice you can provide at all for this situation. I do not have that many contacts in London and most of them are pretty disconnected of the consulting/PE reality. Thanks,
