Have always noted a difference in dealings with true executive search firms in terms of the quality of the opportunities they wish to discuss and their approach as compared with some of the others. Not naming names but as a candidate we do pick up on these things.

Talking about recruiting.....Deloitte (let's just say in Asia) e-mailed me re. a role. Read loads re. experience with the biggies, but having never worked for one of them, I must admit that I've always been intrigued by them.So, my questions are:1. What can I learn from the likes of Accenture and Deloitte, that I would have missed in a niche consulting outfit or industry?2. What value can a stint at one of the biggies give me, at this late-ish stage in my career. Lol, saying that, got a good 20 years to go.3. Would it make sense to join one of the biggies at this stage?Anyway, as you all know, I moved to LatAm. Doing work for the biggest telecoms player there. At least this tiny bit of work is interesting. Everything else is a chore. Thinking of moving again.
