Hi,I have got an offers from Capgemini and Wipro, I know Capgemini is comparatively low in terms of compensations i got less offer compare to my previous jobs and waiting for an offer from Wipro now. These are UK based roles and I am trying to find from the forum colleagues about their experiences with Wipro and Capgemini, what you guys suggest here for me, to go with Wipro or with Capgemini ? I will be working on SAP and got around 8yrs of experience. Thanks, sapchap

Hi, this depends on whether u have joined consulting or technology in CG. If it is Consulting then I would say go for CG. However if you are in one of those T grades, then I would think before taking up CG offer. Wipro is much better in terms of compensation, projects and overall culture than CG when it comes to Technology (System integration types). If you are in one of those C grades in CG then I would suggest going for CG...frankly..none of these two are great in terms of consulting, specially if you have to take a lower offer/grade in CG then not exciting at all..!

Hi,I have be been offered a C3 grade - Senior Consultant so perhaps it should be CG I believe, I know in terms of market rate Cap is much low in compensations but wondering about the Working culture and Process with Cap, I heard Wipro is terrible in Processes and very bad internal communications. So looking for some guidance on joining these companies.

Cool, as you have mentioned its C3 grade, then its Cap Gemini consulting, so it is much better than Wipro. If you are happy with the compensation offered then go for CG and not Wipro.

As per my understanding hikes in CG are not exciting. Frankly its the same every where, so you should never take a decision to join the company based on what would be aftre 2 years( I have learnt my lesson the hard way). Always try and get the best offer possible and think that it wont increase significantly for next 2-3 years. I have friends who have been getting 1.5-2% hikes in CG..so dont base your decision on that..

I understand the offer may be good for some one looking at Senior Consultant role in Consulting. I am not sure on what basis they offered me this role when I am now Project Lead and driving a Project. Trying to understand the role responsibilities for Senior Consultant in Consulting space within Capgemini. Any one have to say anything about the role & responsibilities for Senior Consultant in Consulting with Capgemini.

Who cares what C3 or C4 corresponds to - these things are often fluid, and you are either willing to accept the compensation or not. You earn a better salary right now so why are we even having this conversation?
