Hi,I'm curious about De(loooitte)'s travel policy, specifically the rules over traveling with your spouse. My current employer sponsors all expenses for me and my partner within/outside UK if the gig is away from my Base location. (No questions asked)I'm sure Deloitte would be different and this might not work with them. Anyone from DC can correct me here.Also - Do they sponsor higher studies like Masters/Executive education courses? Or being BIG 4 - its all about accounting qualifications?Thanks for helpful replies.

As you know, the Big 4 firms are all models of probity ;) What about the tax implications?You should probably be able to swing getting your spouse's travel paid for if for example you are working out in the UAE and it doesn't really make sense for you to go home every week. Generally the swap of they travelk rather than you travel would be acceptable - no net increase in cost.You can get sponsorship for further coutrses but it will be on a case-by-case basis. There are a lot of internal and external short courses run and available for you to go on. Beyond this, you will need to come up with some sort of business justification.
