The regular threads on here around what can I do after consulting got me pondering the paths less trodden..I've known two consultants at manager level who left to take holy orders, and one who left ACN to become a choreographer.Any other odd examples?

Someone I know left to become a new age healer. Prior to that I thought she was quite sane. Since then, her Facebook posts have led me to quite another conclusion.

I started my career 10 years ago designing cars (engine systems and testing)....decided I wanted a worse work-life balance and that the work I was doing was just too varied and interesting so I moved to a Big4 Consulting firm to become pre-eminent in powerpoint rather than being paid for my knowledge of vehicle acoustic design and performance for manufacturers such as Audi or Honda. I'm now thinking of moving in to new age healing.
